Funeral services for William Lowell “Red” Ramsey, 69, will be held at 10 A.M., Monday, March 22, 2010, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, LA, with Rev. Glenn Morrison and Rev. Josh Rodgers officiating. Burial will Read Obituary
Red Ramsey was a very decent man. I only new him for the past six years, but he became a good friend and loyal employee. Red love being on the farm that he had and loved talking about his family and grandkids. I always called him \"Redbone\". He loved to go Red fishing with Mr Bruce Willis, his best friend. He will be truly missed by all of us. May God bless his family. Red, may you rest in eternal peace, God Bless. Your friend, Greg.

Red Ramsey was like a father to me, Except....I'm too old to be his son. He, instead...was my best friend. He always cared about me and my family. He gave me the best advice and took time to listen to me. I WILL MISS YOU RED!!! Michael Hiatt
I worked with Mr. Red for the past eight months at Northrop Grumman. He was a wonderful man and he will be missed. I know I will miss seeing his smiling face everyday at work. My prayers go out to Mr. Red's family.
The soldiers and civilians of Fort Polk will never understand the great service he provided for the installation in his work with the the installations alarms system. I say they will never know because, through his efforts these systems were kept running and in place allowing countless people to go about thier lives while an electronic system protected them and the nations property.\r\nRed was always there. Could always be depended on. he will never be replaced. \r\nMy the Lord bless his family and his loved ones during this time. Thank you for sharing Red with us. We have been the better for it.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my father last year so I can understand your pain. Death is never easy to accept which is why it's called an enemy in the Bible at 1 Corinthians 15:26. Jesus gave us a hope based on the Bible at John 11:25: \"I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.\" So, we will be able to see our loved ones again by means of the resurrection. At that time we will never have to lose them again. Why can we say that? Because God has promised us this in the Bible at such scriptures as Isaiah 25:8, Isaiah 26:19, and Revelation 21:3-5.
