William Thomas Gaynor's Obituary
William Thomas Gaynor passed away on September 8, 2009 at his residence in Leesville, after a two year battle with cancer.
He was born on July 6, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA. He was a lifelong Catholic and a member of St. Michael The Archangel Parish.
He served his country for 20 years and retired from the Air Force in 1967. He had one tour of duty in Korea and two tours in Vietnam.
After military retirement he worked for Aetna Casualty & Surety and CNA Insurance Co. He retired as a Claims Executive.
He is survived by his wife Carrie Evelyn Gaynor; three sons, John Gaynor, Eddie Boyd & Steve Boyd; brother, Jack Gaynor; sisters-in-law Arlene Gaynor, & Patti Frey; brother-in-law William (Jane) Moore; sisters-in-law Kathleen (Cyril) Culton, and Dottie Henry & Lavena Sherrod; five grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and one special great niece/Goddaughter Isabell Santana.
He served God, his country and family well.
