Dear Carrie & Family: I am very sorry to hear about Uncle Bill. My father was Peter Gaynor, Bill's oldest brother. It is a shame that we did not get to see much of Uncle Bill over the years; however, in looking at his photograph, I see my Dad and Uncle Jack in his face. My condolences to you and your family.\r\n Susan Gaynor Brennan
uncle bill was always thousands of miles away from us, So i didnt really get to know him all that well. But one thing i will never forget is that when I was 18 years old and stationed at fort Leonard wood in missouri, Uncle Bill made it a point to contact me and invite me to his home in Kansas.when you are 1500 miles away from home and only 18 nothing could be as welcome as the 3 weekends I spent with uncle bill aunt ida may and John. They all made me feel very welcome and confortable.Althought I thanked him, I dont know if he ever knew how much I appreciated his kindness.he was a tough strong willed guy but he had a very big heart
I am sorry for Uncle Bill's death. I did not even know he had been suffering for the last 2 years w/ cancer. I extend my sincere sympathy to his family, those who are close & will miss him the most. Know that @ least he is put of pain, tho it might not be as easy for you. May God bless you & keep you in His Hands.\r\nAgain, my sympathies .. Diane

My heart & my prayers are with you & your children. May you be comforted in knowing that he is no longer in pain & is finally at peace. May God bless you & hold you & your family in His Hands during this difficult time.\r\nLove in Him. \r\nDiane\r\n(Peter Gaynor's oldest daughter)
