Timothy Pershing's Obituary
Memorial services for Timothy Pershing, 60, of Anacoco, will be held at 1:00p.m., on Friday, July 19, 2019 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
Friends may call from 12:00n until service time Friday in the Funeral Home.
Timothy was born on May 1, 1959 in Indiana. He passed away on July 12, 2019 in Leesville.
He served his country in the United States Army and retired as a MSG after over 21 years of service. He was very proud of his service to his country and always said it was “his honor to serve.” He loved to travel, and made many trips all over the United States on his motorcycle. He was always happy and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone, or even just a smile.
Those left to cherish his memory are His Wife: Mahaley Pershing of Anacoco; Two Sisters: Rebecca & husband Steve Carothers of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Kyla & husband Paul Peacock of Cincinnati, Ohio; Four Nieces: Ellie & husband Joe Tabeling, Taya Carothers & husband William Leon Mora, April Peacock, and Lyndsay & husband Craig Ashcraft; Three Stepchildren: Wes & Sandy Carnes, Rece & Michael Steen, and Joseph Carnes; 1 Great niece: "lil Bit" Isabelle Ruth Tabling; 8 Step Grandchildren; and a Host of Cousins and Friends.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gary Sinese Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project.
