Memorial services for Timothy Pershing, 60, of Anacoco, will be held at 1:00p.m., on Friday, July 19, 2019 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. Read Obituary
Rest in heaven my dear sweet friend, Tim! My heart is so heavy as I've known you since grade school. I have always adored you although I never told you.I am so happy I got to go out to lunch with you a few years ago when you came to Indiana. So many memories from our younger years. Thank you so much for being my friend. I will miss you terribly. I thank God you found love again and remarried. I'll pray for her to heal through the sorrow. Thank you for serving our country Tim.
I miss Tim already. I talked to him about 3 years ago and he was happy go lucky guy I knew at Lincoln grade school and a Riley High school. Two of my favorite memories of Tim is when he just finished his freshman year of wrestling at Riley he came back to Lincoln grade school to see Coach Karwowski and give back to the wrestlers still at Lincoln. The second was a year later and Tim showed me where to stand in line for lunch at Riley and not get in trouble, he was a prankster but he always was looking out for me his entire time at Lincoln and Riley High School. He is one of the reasons I served in the US Air Force for 20 years. I have my memories of him. Thank you Tim.

There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved. Tim and Mahaley were so fortunate to have found such great love in each other. Though their time together on this earth was short, their love is everlasting. Tim was blessed w/Mahaley as she was with him. Tim will live on forever in our hearts and thru his beloved memory keeper, Mahaley Pershing. A love so few are ever fortunate to experience. I did not personally know Tim, but thru Mahaley I know he was a decent, caring, respected, loving husband, father, Veteran! All my respect to you sir. May you Rest In Peace and continue to look over your beloved!!
