Services for Thurman Ray Davis will be held Saturday, April 3 at 11:00 am at Pine Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Blackmon officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, April 2 from 6:00 pm until time of service on Saturday at P Read Obituary
Mr. Thurman was a Good Man, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Christian Man and a Friend to all. Ms. Betty, Rita, Denise, Daniel and the rest of Mr. Thurmans family my heart goes out to you all and the memories he leaves behind to you all will be everlasting. God will gain another One of his children but leave you all with a heavy heart but the memories Mr. Thurman leaves behind will always help y’all through the difficult times ahead. Y’all are in our prayers.
Uncle Thurman always has a kind word or a swift kick, depending on what you deserved. Sending prayers and love to the entire Davis and Paddy family.
I was a teenager when I first moved beside Thurman Davis, and his family, on West Hawthorne Road. He quickly became a close member to our family. He truly exemplified his faith in God, on a daily basis, especially to all of the young men. He would take us with him, on his nightly routes, of delivering products to different drop points. He would make you feel like family, and will be missed by family, friends, and the Pine Hill Baptist Church.
