Shirley A. Quebodeaux's Obituary
Shirley A. Quebodeaux, 85, entered peacefully into the arms of her Savior on Friday, October 18, 2024, in Lake Charles with her family by her side. Shirley was born on March 18, 1939, in Sweetlake, LA, to Felix and Anna Babineaux St Germain.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024, with a visitation that will start at 10:00 AM and service will begin at 11:00 AM, in the chapel with Rev. Chuck Dodd, Rev. Don Steele, and Rev. Ruben Paul officiating. Interment will follow at Beauregard Cemetery, DeRidder, LA.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Tommy Quebodeaux and wife Debbie of Hindsville, AR, and Dean Quebodeaux and wife Mary of Dry Creek; daughter, Gaila Ely and husband Glenn of DeRidder; brother, Gene St. Germain and wife Pookie of Baldwin, LA; sister, Gwen Quebodeaux of Reeves; seven grandchildren, David, William, Travis, Anna, Barbara, Ivan, and Christie; ten great-grandchildren, Rachelle, Saylor, Caidence, Rhylee, Hudson, Samuel, Conner, Daegan, Kaelyn, and Atlan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Anna St. Germain; brothers, Emery, Aldon, Wilton, and Clyde; one grandchild, Jeffery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are William Ely, Ivan Ely, Ty Drake, Waylon Wolf, Xavior Schaver, David Clark, and Travis Ramirez.
