Sandra Kay Wedgeworth Hicks' Obituary
Sandra Kay Wedgeworth Hicks was born on August 14, 1947 in Natchitoches Parish to her parents Mayoun and Eloise Pullin Wedgeworth. She passed away on April 3, 2025 in Leesville, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mayoun and Eloise Wedgeworth and son, Walter Mayoun Hicks.
She is survived by her husband, Walter L. Hicks of Leesville, LA; son, Robert L. Hicks and wife, Lanita of Shreveport, LA; daughter, Carol Lynn Wells and husband, Fredrick of Leesville, LA; brothers, Michael Wayne Wedgeworth and wife Elaine of New Mexico and Ronald Baron Wedgeworth of Vidalia, LA; sisters, Janice Faye Hines of Dallas, TX and Donna Marie Wedgeworth of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Michael Robinette, Matthew Wells, Madison Smith and husband Clark, Colin Hicks and Chloe Hicks.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Visitation will be held April 7th from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions in lieu of flowers; American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
