I am Sandra's older brother Mike. In 1968 I was completing Naval Officers Training in New Port, Rhode Island. The commissioning ceremony was. a very special event in my life; however, it appeared no one in the family could make it there as my special guest. That's when Sandra, my very bold young sister, notified me that she was going to attend. Somehow we made all the travel arrangements, and she arrived to see me become a U.S. Navy Ensign, and attend the Officers formal celebration ball (see photo). What a wonderful memory I cherish with Sandra.
