I had the privilege of knowing Dr. Henderson for over 50 years. He was one of the most kind and gentle persons one could ever meet. His love of the Lord was evident in everything he did, and he was always ready to share his faith with others. A scientist, theologian, farmer and and family man, he lead an amazing and inspiring life. I am blessed to have known him and his wonderful family.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
Our prayers go out to the family of this wonderful, gentle man. He was an inspiration and kind soul who will be greatly missed. He has left an amazing family especially in his son Richard and grand children Brian Henderson and Laura Russell. Rest in peace, Samuel Henderson. Sincerely, Jerry and Elaine Hyatt
I wish I could have met you. All that knowledge and wisdom you bestowed on people had to be great. You have showed me that loving God is the best thing could happen to anyone. God's grace kept you a century of a life and more. Your work for him was "well done thy good and faithful servant." To the family may God give you strength during this time.
What a wonderful man I am proud to say was my Grandfather. I have such wonderful memories of the farm, thanks to him. What an amazing life he lived. Until we meet again GPa.
What an amazing man he obviously was!!! We never met him, but feel as though we have. We met Carol, & Richard Henderson at First Baptist Church, Florence, SC. They shared so many stories abt Grandpa. He has left an incredible legacy! Condolences to all of the family. Our thoughts, & prayers r with you.
