Melton Lynn Hale's Obituary
Funeral services for Melton Lynn Hale, 61, of Hornbeck will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 1:30 pm at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Hornbeck, with Buddy Airhart & Kenneth Baggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Hale Family Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Wednesday October 26th, from 2 pm until time of service Thursday, at the church.
Melton, the son of Johnny Thomas and Willie Virginia Airhart Hale was born on November 13, 1954, in Many, Louisiana. He passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016, in Leesville, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Bartel Hale and Bennie Hale and granddaughter, Kyler Lee Hale.
Mr. Hale worked for over forty years as a Millwright for I.P. He loved to grow plants in his garden. His passion was his family, he loved his grandbabies.
He is survived by his wife, of 38 years, Debra Hale of Hornbeck; sons, Chris & Vanessa Hale of Anacoco, Chad & Melissa Hale of Hicks, Jonathan & Amanda Hale of Weatherford, TX & Joshua Hale of Alamogordo, NM; siblings, Felton & Connie Hale of Hornbeck, Willie & Rita Hale of Hornbeck, Rebecca Hale of Hornbeck, Lorraine Curtis of Hornbeck & Melba & Tom Perkins of Hornbeck and grandchildren, Taylor Hale, Samantha Hale, Elise Hale, Logan Hale, Isabella Hale, Zack Bennett, Cyrus Valentine & Noah Valentine.
