Funeral services for Melton Lynn Hale, 61, of Hornbeck will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 1:30 pm at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Hornbeck, with Buddy Airhart & Kenneth Baggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Hale Read Obituary

Just found out about Lynn's passing recently. He was a great young man in our class in Hornbeck High School. Always very kind and very respectful to all us girls. He was always a great friend also. I will miss him, I am not sure, but I believe he is the first one of our Class of 1973 that has passed away. My heart and sympathy goes out to all Lynn's family, loved ones and friends.
It makes me sad to find out that Lynn passed away. If everyone was like Lynn was, this world would be a much better place.
I'm so sorry for your loss and may you find comfort in the scriptures during this difficult time. Isaiah 25:8 gives us comfort that Jehovah God will swallow death forever and this will be done under his perfect government here on earth soon. I got to work with Mr.Lynn for 4 years at the mill and not a day went by where he wouldn't talk to me and ask how I was or make me laugh. we lost a good man !
