Funeral services for Mavis Genelle Murray 86, of Anacoco, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 22, 2020 in the Cold Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Cold Springs Ceme Read Obituary
Mavis was the sweetest lady and always so kind to me. I dated her son Johnny Ball back in the sixties . I spent many joyful times at Mavis and James home. Time has sure gone by since those days back in Corsicana Texas. I am saddened to learn of Mavis and John's passing. As well as James. Condolences to a sweet family. I never forgot Sweet Mavis . She was always so kind to me and she knew how much I loved her son Johnny Ball. I loved to visit Mavis when she lived in Texas. My condolences to all her family.
I remember once when I was young, she was at our house in Joyce, La. She made us ham, biscuits, and red eye gravy for breakfast. It was delicious. She was so giving and had a beautiful smile. Most of all, I remember Aunt Mavis was kind and loving.
