Louis Stanley Ripley, 55, of DeRidder, La. passed from this life on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at his residence in DeRidder, La.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011, 10 AM at Christway Church in DeRidder, La. Minister will be the Rev. Kennis Smith. Burial will be at Whitaker Cemetery, DeRidder, La.
Visitation will begin on Friday, February 18, 2011, 4PM until the time of the service on Saturday at the Church.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Marie Ripley of DeRidder, La; 2 daughters, Jane Butler and husband Chance Lee and Mary Ann Cross and husband Josh of DeRidder, La; 2 brothers, Raymond Ripley and C. J. Perez both of DeRidder, La.; his parents, William and Roberta Ripley of Bellingham, Washington and Jane G. Osborne of DeRidder, La. and 4 grandchildren, Tabitha, Triden, Leebell, Gracie and his canine companion, “Susie”.
Louis Stanley Ripley was born on March 5, 1955, in Lake Charles, La. to Jane Gray Ripley and William George Ripley. He was a resident of DeRidder since 1995. He served in the United States Army for 18 years and served as a chef. Louis is a member of Christway Church of DeRidder. His hobbies were collecting coins, trains and antiques.
