Lillian (Kay) Smith
I was so thankful to briefly talk with Aunt LaVon on Wednesday before she passed. I have not been able to see her in years, so the picture on here is how I remember her. \r\n\r\nShe was \"that special Aunt\", you know, there is always at least one that stir such fond lifelong memories. That was Aunt LaVon.\r\n\r\nShe saw us through some rough times when we were growing up and was always there for us.\r\n\r\nI remember when we were kids walking up the hill to Aunt LaVon's on Saturday night to watch the Saturday night movie (there wasn't but one) :-) \r\nAunt LaVon would make taffy and all the kids would have a blast pulling that taffy til it shined like silk. Taste testing as we went along of course. :-)\r\n\r\nShe loved my Mom and was a great friend and confidant when Momma really needed one....and Momma loved her so!\r\n\r\nYou will be missed Aunt LaVon...but I'll never forget you. \r\n\r\nGod be with everyone during these coming days....she is finally at peace.\r\n\r\nLillian (Kay) Smith, Jamie and Jeramie
