Jimmie F. Ellis' Obituary
Funeral services for Jimmie F. Ellis, 88, of Leesville, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 17, 2020 in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Leesville with Rev. Joseph Garner, officiating. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 17, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until service time in the church.
Jimmie was born on April 21, 1931 in Elizabethtown, NC to her parents, Frank Ray Lewis & Emmie Bell Pone. She passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 in Alexandria.
Jimmie is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Rudolph Ellis, Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Thomas Ellis (Kelley) of Westlake, OH, Rudolph Ellis Jr. of Jackson, LA., daughters; Betty Lewis of Leesville, LA., Doreen Howard (Troy) of Houston, TX., Cathy Ellis (Linda) of Phoenix, AZ., Jacqueline Johnson (Martin) of Bossier City, LA., brothers; Zelmon Williams of St. Paul, NC., Theodore Lewis of NC., long time childhood friend; Zula Thomas of Fayetteville, NC.,10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
