Funeral services for Jimmie F. Ellis, 88, of Leesville, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 17, 2020 in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Leesville with Rev. Joseph Garner, officiating. Burial will follow in the Centr Read Obituary

Your mom was spunky and loved to laugh. She prayed (often travailed) with such anointing that no one questioned her faith. She carried an old tattered and worn bible around with her. After hearing her speak (preach) it became evident that she really didnt need it-she had the word in her heart. Im gonna miss her. Things are different without her. She blessed me and many others at Brookdale. I am praying for you as I know she did. She went to the thrown for her babies and....me. Imagine. She heard it. Well done....

Nobody know this Pain unless you been there before. I been there. You lose your First Love & Best Friend wrap up in one. But I pray that God will move you all thru the Pain Quickly. I'm miss her to.
