I meet Mr. Perkins about ten years ago. I was going to hunt at the old Lutcher Moore management area and not knowing the area,Pruitt suggested I go by his dads and he'd show me around. Well not being familiar with thriving metropolis of Burr Ferry it took me a while to locate his home. Once I found it and introduced myself. Mr and Mrs Perkins welcomed me with open arms. Mr Perkins was more than happy to show me around woods and I got to hear quite a few hunting tales.\r\n\r\n After our tour of the woods i took Mr. Perkins home, where he began showing me around his homeplace. To this day I still tell people about his artesian spring feed pond and his fish holding tank and spot tail shiner trap. Mr. Perkins told if I killed anything to come there and use his skinning rack and showed me where he kept the ice. And to use all i needed. Well i ended up killing and took him up on the offer. He was quite a character. And i know he will be terrible missed. My condolences to the Perkins family. My thoughts and prayers are with you'll.ALAS MY BROTHER.

Pruitt & Family,\r\nI will never forget your Dad. Our Dad's worked together for many years at Texaco. I will always remember my Dad speaking highly of your Dad. Also, during my Dad's illness, your Mom and Dad were always there to help and encourage. Due to prior commitments, I will not be able to attend your Dad's funeral. However, I know that the population of Heaven has now increased with the addition of Mr. Perkins. I pray that God will comfort and strengthen you and your family during this time of loss.
Jim, I am sorry that you lost your father. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
