I loved being Iva's dentist for many years. She was truly one of the sweetest and most appreciative patients that I've had the pleasure to treat over the course of the last 40rs. RIP Iva.

My condolences to the family of such a beautiful lady. I greeted her on Sundays at Grace church as beautiful I saw her heart. Miss you beautiful angel.
I had lost touch with Iva over the years. My Grandmother lived next door to Iva's family in Elizabeth, LA. Iva and I, when I would visit my Grandfather and Grandmother, Mr. & Mrs. I. K. Miller, would play together and even spend the night together. Sorry I did not see this obit before today. I would attended the services. I thought she had married Bill Green but may be mistaken.Thoughts and prayers are with all the family in this time of lose of their loved one.Sincerely,Mary Jo Miller Arnold
She was such a sweet, lovely lady. Loved seeing her smiling face at the drug store when she came by. My condolences to the family.
Mrs. Green was my favorite elementary teacher. I had problems reading in second grade and she never gave up on me. My parents decided to hold me back and I loved her so much that I asked to have her as my teacher for a second year. She was fun, lively, organized, and she cared for her students. She always called me her "little teenager" because my mom always dressed me up for school. I will never forget her Super Kid green t-shirts and her reading bath tub. She knew how to make school fun for kids. I know over her 36 years as a teacher that she had a positive impact on many students' lives because she made such a huge impact on my life.I was recently home (March 5, 2021) and my mom had a folder that she wanted me to go through. Amongst my thank you cards, letters, and shot records were some report cards. There were two from second grade with Mrs. Green's elegant handwriting. My first year of second grade report card had messages of worry and concern. The second year had a message of reassurance for my parents that they had done the right thing in holding me back. She said I was a completely different student and my grades were higher than ever. She always praised my math skills and warned that I talked a little too much. I am now a high school chemistry teacher. I have been teaching for 16 years and I think about her and my two years in second grade fondly. Second grade will forever be my favorite grade because of her. May she rest in peace. I will be in prayer for her friends and family.
In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

I will always remember and cherish memories made with “ Aunt Iva”. She was always lovely, but most of all, the life of the family holidays. Her home was so inviting and we laughed until we could hardly breathe. The games, jokes and memories are so dear. Most importantly, she loved her family and she will be missed. We love all of you and send hugs to you as you remember a beautiful lady.
May care and love of those around your family provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead.Just know that I am here for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out, especially during this difficult time. My heartfelt condolences.Barbara (Barbi)
