My Granny\r\n\r\nHello God, It's me...\r\nYou haven't heard from me in a while,\r\n I have been traveling life's broken road living here as your child.\r\nI know I am not worthy,\r\n And I don't deserve Your grace,\r\nBut I have one request that is everything but a waste.\r\nAs You know, \r\nMy beautiful Granny is in heaven with you. \r\n She is suffering no longer and now there is not much I can do...\r\nBut I can pray to You \r\nAnd ask You to do one thing for me. \r\nThis would mean the world to me, My Heavenly King.\r\nLord, I don't know much about heaven, \r\n I don't think I ever will.. \r\nSo just please keep her safe,..calm, and still.\r\nShe has lived a long life\r\n With an unforgettable past. \r\nSo let her life- song live and fully last.\r\nI will miss her completely \r\nAnd will never forget the times spent. \r\nI know she was here for a reason, definitely heaven-sent. \r\nSo please don't forget my plea. \r\nI will continue to go on with life. \r\nI will always remember her in the good times and not the strife.\r\n Lord, I love you\r\nAnd I know she does too... \r\nI know I will see her in heaven with all the other loved ones that I knew.\r\nSo tell her hi \r\nAnd give her a big kiss \r\nBecause simple things like that are the moments that I miss. \r\nDon't think she will ever be forgotten \r\nShe never will. \r\nI can't wait to see my Granny at the mansion on the hill!
Dear Hoye, Charles and Underwood Family, I have many fond and wonderful memories of your mother and father. I remember visiting them when they lived in Ft. Worth and also at their home in Leesville. Her picture looked just like I remember her, and I haven't seen her since my Mom died and she came to the funeral home. I know she and my Mom are having a good time catching up. My Dad, Gene Stephens, is living with us now (he will be 83 next month). He gets the Leesville Leader mailed to him and saw your Mom's obituary in the paper. I know it's hard to see them go, but I hope you all have faith and great peace in knowing where she is.
