Ma Dear was one of the most experienced cooks I ever met. Her food was enjoyed by everyone who visited Jackie and Patrick Rodriques home. She was a lot of fun and people enjoyed playing cards with her. Her smile and hardy laugh will be missed. She baked me one of the most delicious peacan pies i ever had. While in intensive care in the hospital she said she baked a lot of pies and would make sure I would get one. She loved cooking for her grandchildren,friends, family especially Ryan. I will miss her so much. if she thought you were cheating her while playing cards she would not hold back her thoughts. She is now in the loving care of the master.
