Susan, Dandy and family. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I do not get on social media so I did know until I was on a search about Leesville. Just remembering old times. I am sorry I am so late.

The Heart is Heavybut The Soul Rejoices
Mr. Scoggins was truly a wonderful, honorable man. My memories are extremely fond of a man who treated me with such kindness that I learned life lessons from him. I have memories of seeing Mr. Scoggins at every activity of Susan and Dandy's. He and Mrs Scoggins never missed a game, performance, or recognition involving their children (Even after the girls went to college). It took a lot of effort and love to be parents like the Scoggins. I was impressed then, and i'm more impressed now after having my own children. My prayers are with Susan, Dandy, and their families. Your dad was larger than life. I know it is a difficult time, yet I smile when I think how happy your mom must be right now.
