Hinda,I came to know Charles in seeing him at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and more recently at our reunions and birthday parties out at the old house. I'll never forget the Sunday morning that Charles and I sang the tenor part of "When Peace Like a River" together, blending our voices I thought beautifully, in one of the best Tenor parts in the songbook. The next time I was there, after the song service and as we were leaving the choir loft, Charles said "Bless you!" to me. I thanked him. I've come to love him a great deal, a man who lived truly in the image of Jesus, and I can't tell you how much I will miss him. May God bless you and comfort you!Kenny Palmer
