I am very sorry that we have lost Ma Bessie. I can remember her giving me extra potatoes when she was one of the people serving us lunch at school, but I don't think it's because I was a cousin... I think she just had a generous nature. Later in life, it was always wonderful to see her light up when my wife and I visited Simpson for Thanksgiving. Those moments will be cherished and remembered, and she will be missed.
Bessie and her husband Enos were some of the best neighbors you could ask for. Always willing to help in any way they could. Rest in peace.
Mr. Enos & Mrs. Bessie were two of the kindest people I have ever had the privilege to know. I feel blessed to have known both of them and they are missed greatly. Prayers sent out to the family, especially to my SHS classmate Bubba and schoolmates Heather and Mason.
