Aunt Alice you will be missed. I have so many wonderful memories of playing at your farm, eating your fabulous cooking, and occasionally meeting up with you and the Spurgeons during your travels. You were a courageous outdoors woman at a time when women were supposed to stay in their lane. I will always admire you for that. My condolences to Alice’s family. I have great memories of visiting Uncle Jim and his family. Alice and John were kidded unmercifully when they were courting. My father W.L. Wise and Alice were first cousins.
Everybody should have an aunt Alice like you. Crawfish catch and cook , play ball and. Fun things kids like to do. I know we drove you crazy. I am so sorry.
