Funeral services for Wilma Doris Taylor 68, of DeRidder, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 8, 2022 in the Shady Grove Pentecostal Church in DeRidder with Rev. Donnis Ashworth and Rev. Ricky Wead officiating. Burial will follow in Rosepine Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 5:00 P.M - 8:00 P.M. and Friday, April 8, 2022 from 12:00 P.M.-time of service in the church.Wilma was born on November 28, 1953 in Sulphur, to her parents, Lathan and Margie Kourtney Foster. She passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in Lake Charles.Wilma was a great mother and grandmother who loved to cook for and spend time with her family. She also loved to go fishing and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: John O. Taylor; brother: Steve Foster; sister: Hazel Gearin. Left to cherish her memory is her daughters: Angie Mullens and husband, James of DeRidder, Doris Doyle and husband, Leland of Sevierville, TN; son: John Roy Taylor of DeRidder; brothers: Bobby Foster of Dequincy, Preston Foster of Oretta; sister: Linda Parks of Oretta; grandchildren: Morgan Hicks and husband, Stephen, Jaimee Mullens, Jason Taylor, Justin Taylor, Dustin Taylor; great grandchildren: Melina and Mizael; a host of other family and friends.
