Wilma Arthur's Obituary
Memorial services for Wilma P. Arthur, 89, of Anacoco, Louisiana will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013, at the Kingdom Hall in Many with Bro. Charles A. Pugh, Jr. officiating. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Wilma, the daughter of Wallace William and Cora Hazel Hawalleck Lamphear was born November 13, 1923 in North Land, WI. She passed away, October 13, 2013, in Many, LA.
She is survived by her children, Karen Arthur Self & husband, James of Anacoco, LA and Michael F. Arthur of Rohnert Park, CA; brother, Neal Lamphear & wife Judy of Aumsville, OR; special friends, Mary Kern of Canby, OR and Anita Watson of Myrtle Creek, OR and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wilma was a U S Navy Veteran and served in World War II. Mrs. Arthur was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1954 and served faithfully for 59 years.
