Willie Lee Williams' Obituary
Funeral services for Willie Lee Williams, 88, of Leesville will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2009 at New Willow Baptist Church in Leesville, with Rev. Harrison Fields officiating. The burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery with full military honors. Friends may visit on Thursday, June 4th form 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana.
Willie passed away, Tuesday, May 26, 2009 in Leesville, Louisiana. Mr. Williams was a twenty year U.S. Army Veteran, serving in War War II, with numerous medals. He also served twenty-two years in the Civil Service. Mr. Williams was well known & loved; he will truly be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-nine years Betty Joe Williams; one daughter Karen Mills; parents Sidney Williams & Lula Holmes, and several sisters and brothers.
Mr. Williams is survived by his sons, Willie Lee Williams II, Demetrius Williams, Derek Williams, & Kevin Mills all of Leesville, Louisiana; daughter Michelle Mills, of Little Rock, Arkansas; brothers Herman Richardson of Gary, Indiana & Frazier Richardson of Greenville, Mississippi and sister Thelma Mason, of New York City, New York.
