Funeral services for Willie “Bo” Clemmons, 76, of New Llano will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville with Rev. Ronale Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery in Leesville.
Affectionaly known as “Bo” Willie’s work on earth is finished. He received a call on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 1 P.M. His earthly voyage was ended and he had to take a flight on a mission to a wonderful place where he’ll eternally resides with much peace, joy, contentment and happiness.
On June 22, 1946, God entrusted the late Willie Johnson, Sr. and Evelyn Clemmons with a handsome bouncing baby boy named Willie Don, he was born in Leesville, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and three sisters.
Brother Willie accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. He was educated at the infamous Vernon High School in Leesville. He worked for the Vernon Parish School Board for several years and later he worked in the oilfield.
Bo never met a stranger he always had a conversation for you. He loved his nieces and nephews and did whatever for his family.
He leaves to cherish his memories a special niece Wendy Roberts and her husband DeWayne of New Llano, La., and a host of nieces and nephews, one sister; Ms. Cynthia Cranson of Houston, Tx., a host of great nieces, nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, loving relatives and friends.
