William Bill Turner's Obituary
Funeral services for William “Bill” Turner of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 7, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, Louisiana. Burial will follow in Self Cemetery on Hwy. 111 East in Anacoco under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 6, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Mr. Turner passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015, in Alexandria, Louisiana. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a Greeter at Walmart for 25 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Remonia Palos of Flatgap, Kentucky and sisters; Nadine Goins of DeRidder and Lorene Gastafson of Ohio and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Turner, son, James Ronald Turner, daughter, Alice Elizabeth Turner Savell, and his companion, Junco Stevens.
