Mrs. Sexson, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your husband, Bill. He sounded like an awesome guy. What a wonderful life he led, helping others. You may not remember me, I was one of your students at Hicks in the late 70's. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers

Bill:Its so hard to believe that youre gone. I was so shocked when I heard the news - so very sad. I began to think back to when we first met - almost 44 years ago! That was when you, Lawanda, Don and I were young newlyweds living in Natchitoches We shared some great times together. A few years later, we each began our families and had eight children between us. They played with each other as babies and have grown up loving each other to this day. They are so blessed to have each other as cousins. Some cousins arent very close, but our kids are very close and deeply love their family. It goes without saying that you and Lawanda have done a great job raising your girls as your daughters are all wonderful, caring young women. I know you both love them dearly and are so proud of each of them. Without question, Lawanda has been an awesome, loving wife - always by your side. The two of you made such a great couple - were such loving parents, and unbelievable grandparents!Bill - without a doubt - you were unique, one of the best! A great husband, dad, and grandfather, but most endearing to me was what a great uncle you were to my children. The kids couldnt believe when they found out you had passed away - they were simply heart broken. Im so glad that not long ago I had the oopportunity to thank yall for being such a great aunt and uncle. I hope you knew that you and Lawanda were so very special to them, always attending every special event in their lives and loving them and their babies like they were your own. Im so glad they were all able to attend your funeral, of course with the exception of Jeremy. I dont know what its like in Heaven, but if possible Im sure Jeremy was waiting for you with open arms and so excited to at last be reunited with his favorite uncle! The two of you have truly touched their hearts with the unwavering love you have shown them over the years. To say you will be greatly missed is a gross understatement. My wish for you is peace and peace to your beautiful family. Rest well my dear friend. You are greatly loved. With utmost sincerity, Sharon
