Funeral services for William Randall Lichtenauer, 58, of Dry Creek, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 1, 2015,in Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, LA, with Rev. Dalton Isbell officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Hopewell Community, LA, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder. Mr. Lichtenauer passed from this life on Monday, December 29, 2014, in his residence near Dry Creek, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA.
Randy was born on Wednesday, September 5, 1956, to William Louis and Yvonne Paralisa Frusha Lichtenauer in Wiesbaden, Germany. He lived most of his life in Dry Creek, LA. He was a retired truck driver and an avid hunter. He loved to ride motorcycles. He attended Spring Creek Baptist Church in Kipling Community, LA. He loved his children and grandchildren, who were his pride and joy.
He is survived by two sons, Brian Lichtenauer and wife Chanta of DeRidder, and Christopher Lichtenauer of Georgia; one daughter, Larisa L. Cronce and husband Chad of Sulphur, LA; four grandchildren, Rees, Brice, Kaitlyn and Jayce; mother and stepfather, Yvonne and Sal Suarez of DeRidder; and two sisters, Debbie Hall of Dallas, TX, and Denise Lichtenauer of Ragley, LA. He was preceded in death by his father and one grandson, Cameron Lichtenauer.
