With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William A Cryer, born on July 19, 1964, in Pineville, Louisiana, and passed away on November 18, 2024, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. William was a devoted husband to Donita Cryer for 33 years and a loving father to Brittany, Tiffany, and Holly.
His daughters will forever cherish his memory, Brittany Cryer of Leesville, Louisiana, Tiffany Smith of Bullhead City, Arizona, and Holly Chilson (Brandon) of Coudersport, Pennsylvania, along with his grandchildren Harlequin (Rat), Crimsynn (Bug), Adyn, Olivia, Thaylan, Myhla, and Oryn, whom he adored beyond measure.
William was preceded in death by his father, Dudley R. Cryer.
William was a hardworking contractor in the construction industry. He was known for his passion for music and his appreciation of nature's beauty. He was renowned for his outspoken yet down-to-earth nature, embodying the essence of a true family man.
A simple man in his pleasures, William found joy in spending time with his grandchildren. He held a special place in his heart for his beloved Crimsynn (Bug). He also enjoyed his talks with his smarty pants Harlequin (Rat). His legacy of love, dedication, and simplicity will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
In this time of grieving, may we find solace in the memories we shared with William, forever appreciating his impact on our lives. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
