William L. "Billy" Walker's Obituary
Funeral services for William “Billy” Walker, Jr. of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2011, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Leesville with Rev. Gary Archbold officiating. Burial will follow in the Castor Cemetery in Leesville, LA under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home.
Billy passed from this life June 22, 2011. He was born October 28, 1959, in Fort Knox, Kentucky. As a military child he traveled extensively. Billy lived most of his life in Leesville and was a 1977 graduate of Leesville High School. He also enlisted and served in the Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joshua and Vadie Walker of Leesville, and Julius and Katharina Taubert of Germany.
He is survived by his parents, William “Bill” and Tilli Walker of Leesville, his sisters, Angela Walker Trezil and husband Chris of Leesville, Tina Walker and her fiance, Jim Bobbit of Shreveport. Also his close friend, Cheryl Schott of Leesville, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
