William Kenneth "Bill" Jones' Obituary
Funeral services for William Kenneth “Bill” Jones, Sr., 54, of Simpson, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13th at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 12th, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 pm at the funeral home and the Tuesday, Oct. 13th, from 8 am until service time in the chapel. Burial will follow in the Welcome Cemetery in Simpson, LA, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Bill, the son of Kenneth Ray and Mamie Parker Jones, was born October 5, 1961 in Amarillo, TX. He passed away Friday, October 9th in Alexandria, LA.
Bill was a roofer by trade; he also surveyed land. Bill was a man that lived for his family and his Lord. He could tell a story with the best if you need a laugh; or he would stand with you in prayer until the answer came. He loved music and playing his guitar.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Kenneth Ray Jones and brothers Robert Dane Jones and Kevin Lee Jones
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Paula Jeane Jones, children, Billy Jones of Simpson, Jessica Jones of Simpson, Dustin Boxberger of Leesville and Angela and husband Ben Thompson of San Antonio, TX; mother, Mamie Jones of Leesville, brother, Brian K. Jones of Leesville; sisters, Belinda and Ken Carnley of Fort Worth, TX and Sandra and Wayne Murray of Leesville, LA; grandchildren, Katie Blais, Maddie Thompson, Jack Thompson, Abby White, Desiree White and Shelby Boxberger; numerous nephews and nieces.
