William Odell Behan, Sr.'s Obituary
Funeral Services for William Odell Behan, Sr. age 82, of Hornbeck, LA will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 13th, at the Fist Baptist Church in Hornbeck with the Rev. Harvey Hoffman, Rev. Gil Aruther and Rev. Bill Hines officiating. The burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hornbeck. Friends may call from 9:00 am Sunday until service time in the church.
Odell passed away, Friday, July 11th in Alexandria.
He was born in Plainview, LA; he was a member and a deacon at the First Baptist Church in Hornbeck, also a member of the Hornbeck Masonic Lodge. He retired from the Vernon Parish School System after 27 years as a School Bus Driver. But mostly he will always be remembered as a Loving husband, father and grandfather and as a man who faithfully served his Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, James A and Kathy Chance Behan, brothers Lewis and Tommy Behan and daughter-in-law, Evelyn Behan
Odell is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Betty Behan of Hornbeck; sons, William Behan, Jr (wife, Velva) of Anacoco and Dale Behan (wife, Linda) of Fort Worth, TX; daughter, Shirley Kyle (husband, Ray) of Leesville; brother, Elmer Eugene Behan (wife, Faye) of Hornbeck; sister, Letha Mae Leach (husband, Darion) of Shreveport, LA; 9 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
