Funeral services for Wendell E. Yates, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 26, 2019 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Bro. Terry Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery Read Obituary
I worked for Mr Yates in 1985 at Fort Polk. He was a gentle soul as si remember him, with a very calm demeanor. Rest my friend.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I am one of the many soldiers that worked for Wendell at IN/Out Processing. My association with him was in 1971. I hope the fact that I remember him after 50 years show the high regard I have for him.
