Waymol Sue Boswell's Obituary
Funeral services for Waymol Sue Boswell, 76, of New Llano will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 15th at the First United Pentecostal Church in Leesville, with Rev. M.C. Green and Rev. John Burns officiating. Friends may visit Saturday, November 14th from 4pm until 9pm at the church, then Sunday November 15th from 9:00 AM until service time in the church. The burial will follow in the Stephens Cemetery in Leesville. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana.
Mrs. Boswell passed away on Friday, November 13th at her residence in New Llano. She was the daughter of Jerry W. and Ora Mae Hall Barrington. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and the “Best Mother-in-Law” the world has known. She was very active and a devoted member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Leesville where she was a “Prayer Warrior” for over 45 years and was known as “Sister Sue” she also taught Sunday School.
Sue formerly served as the Chief of Police for New Llano after the death of her first husband T.C. Frusha. She drove a school bus and formerly owned and operated Sue’s Boutique, she also had a passion for drawing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and also her brother William “Buddy” Barrington.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years Freddie Boswell of New Llano; daughter, Barbara and husband Clark “Corky” Mann of Leesville; step sons, Roger and wife Vickie Boswell and Anthony and wife Pam Boswell all of New Llano; Step daughter, Melissa and husband Patrick Liliedahl of Lake Charles; Sister, Jo Ann and husband Phillip Larwood of Leesville; grandchildren, Anthony and Chris Mann; step-grandchildren, Matthew Boswell, Adam Liliedahl, Mark Boswell, Allison Boswell, Katie Boswell, and Makayla Liliedahl and two great grandchildren Tyler Mann and R J Prince.
