Funeral services for Walter Pelt, 72, of DeRidder, will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 2, 2023 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville with Bro. Robin D. Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Castor Cemetery in Leesville.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 5:00 P.M– 9:00 P.M in the funeral home.
Walter was born on June 10, 1950 in Leesville, Louisiana to his parents, John William & Lilian Pelt. He passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 in DeRidder.
Walter is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Kenny Pelt.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Cindy Pelt of DeRidder, LA., daughters; Cynthia “Cyndy” James (Blake), Courtney Ashley Midkiff (Roger Jr.), Codie Perkins (Dustin), sister; Chatrine Hailee, eight grandchildren; Case James, Cage James, Hunter Midkiff, Keith Midkiff, Cadence Midkiff, Cason Pelt, Raven Perkins and Eason Perkins.
