Wallace served honorably in the United States Army. After his military service, he worked for Red Simpson Power-line Construction for many years. He was a true farmer. He loved growing all kinds of crops and animals especially his cattle. Many times you could find him in the hay fields with his cows. He loved trees, especially a mulberry tree, he made sure to never cut a mulberry tree.
Wallace was a dedicated family man. Many times you could find him spending time with his brother. Other times he would spend time with his pride and joy, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It is said that you knew which grandkids and great-grandkids belonged to Wallace by looking at the bottom of their feet and if they were purple from the mulberry trees then they belonged to Wallace. He took his great-grandchildren to the barn to help him feed his cattle. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all that knew him.
