Waine, it was a strange fate that crossed our paths - an Englishman and an American working in the UAE who shared the same passion for tabletop roleplaying games - both turning up to the same gaming event.It did not take long for me to realise you were a genuine soul in this world. A loyal friend, a gentle man and a devoted father and husband.You were a good friend to me, someone who always showed support and kindness. You were always full of ideas and new ways of seeing things. It was hard enough seeing you leave the UAE to go back to your family - I had always hoped to visit you and your family in Louisiana one day. Long after you left you were always sending messages asking how I was, and were there to offer support and advice during some of the hardest times in my own life.My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
