W. T. Bryant Sr.'s Obituary
Funeral services for W.T. Bryant Sr., 59, of Leesville, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville with Rev. Lynn Cooley officiating. Burial will follow in the Glass Window Cemetery in Slagle, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 16, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
W.T. was born on February 5, 1960 in Leesville, LA to his parents, William T. and Gladys Waggoner Bryant. He passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at his home in Leesville.
W.T. worked at Leesville lumber company, offshore and did yard work. W.T. loved his family, kids and his dog, “Double Trouble”. He loved to play golf with his family and to fish. He loved watching western television shows and to fix anything with a motor. He also loved to watch the Houston Astros, Dallas Cowboys, and anything L.S.U. He enjoyed attending his children, grandchildren, nieces’ and nephews’ athletic events. W.T. lived a simple life, yet was happy and content and wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
W.T. is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Lester Bryant and Manuel Waggoner; sisters, Josephine Yeager, Carla Bryant, Rose Marie Bryant and Pauline Melberg.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: W.T. Bryant, Jr and wife Carrie of Lumberton, TX, Tomas Bryant and wife Ashley of Leesville, Sheri Bryant of Leesville; grandchildren: Ethan, Cade, Evan, Brooklyn, Aubrey and Chase; sisters: Mary Bryant, Marie Dalton and husband Michael all of New Llano, LA.; brothers, James Bryant and wife Shirley of New Llano, Leslie Bryant and wife Judy of Orange, TX. Palmer Johnson of Eros, LA.; his dog: “Double Trouble”; 11 nieces, 6 nephews and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
Pallbearers: Ethan Bryant, Cade Bryant, Charles Kay Jr., Samuel Dalton, William Bryant and Waylon Bryant.
Honorary Pallbearers: Lester (L.J.) Bryant Jr., Summer Atkins and Spring Atkins, Jodi Daulton.
