Funeral services for Virginia Faye Crim, 66, of DeRidder, Louisiana, will be held at 10 A.M., Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, Louisiana, with Rev. Wayne Godfry officiating. Burial will follow in Beauregard Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Mrs. Crim passed away Friday, July 23. 2010, in her residence in DeRidder. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. until time of the service, Thursday, July 29, 2010, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
Born in West point, Georgia, she had traveled the world with her military husband and family. She had been a resident of DeRidder since 1986. She was a retired retail manager of 21 years with the Army/Air Force Exchange system at Ft. Polk, Louisiana. She loved to do arts and crafts and was a collector. She was a strong and loving mother and wife.
She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Crim of DeRidder; two sons, Charles D. Crim, Jr. of Denton, TX, and Anthony B. Crim of New Orleans, LA; one daughter, Angela Mauras of Charleston, SC; one sister, Nancy Lou Morgan of Highlands, TX; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
