Virginia Grace Bragg's Obituary
Ginger was born November 21, 1944, to Harris and Nina (Brinson) Everett in DeRidder, LA. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the age of 73, in her home.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA, visitation will begin at 10:00 AM in the Chapel, until funeral begins at 1:00 PM in the Chapel with Rev. Charlie Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Lewis Cemetery, DeRidder, LA.
She was formerly a member of Diamond Baptist Church, and worked at City Savings Bank for about 20 years, followed by Stine Lumber for more than 10 more years.
Ginger was well-known and well-loved for her kind and generous spirit. In spite of many obstacles throughout her life, she was a survivor who always had a warm smile on her face and if any of her friends needed anything – she was there for them. Her life was an inspiration to many who knew her and her passing leaves a hole in the hearts of her family that can never be filled.
Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, Harris Everett and Nina Everett; husband, Bob Bragg; two brothers, Kenneth Everett, Charles Bert Everett; and step-son-in-law, Kevin Mazzarella.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Ginny Karg and husband, Aaron of Sulphur, LA; step-daughter, Julie Mazzarella of Putnam, CT; brother, Edward Everett and Verlene of Denham Springs, LA; Sisters-In-Law, Mildred Everett of DeRidder, LA, Betty Everett of DeRidder, LA; two grandchildren, Ian Karg and Caleb Karg of Sulphur, LA; longtime companion, Jimmy Martinez of DeRidder, LA.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ian Karg, Caleb Karg, James Everett, Curtis Everett, Dalton Everett and Del Sweat.
