Vicky Lynn "Vic" Gray's Obituary
Funeral services for Vicky Lynn “Vic” Gray, 53, of DeRidder, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Gill officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitaker Cemetery under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral of DeRidder.
Visitation will be Friday, May 27, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and Saturday, May 28th from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.
Vicky Lynn Gray was born October 7, 1968 he passed May 25, 2022 at the age of 53 years. He was born the second child to Marcell and Brenda Gray. Vic was a registered nurse for many years and was a very good nurse. All of his patients and their families spoke highly of him. He also loved singing and writing Gospel music. Vic even had 2 songs that reached #1 on the Country Gospel charts of Christian Music Perspectives. He was a big guy, with a huge heart!
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Brenda Gray.
Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Greg Gray & wife, Jackie of Dry Creek; nieces and nephews, Justin Gray & wife, Kaitlyn of DeRidder, Kimberlee Simmons & husband, Justin of Rosepine, Jayson Gray & wife, Samantha of Kipling and Joseph Gray & wife, Addison of Spring, TX; great nieces and nephews, Emma, Colton, Jaxstin, Jacee, Vivi and one on the way and aunts, Ella Joe Carpenter “Boo” of Mitte, Irma Prudhomme & husband, Dennis of Oberlin, Wanda Vizena & husband, Raymond of Oberlin and Dona Hamilton & husband, Tony of Baton Rouge.
