Funeral services for Vera Nell Craft, 86 of Leesville will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2015 at the Pine Hill Baptist Church with Rev. E. J. Bradshaw and Rev. Jimmy “Tri” Evans III officiating. The burial will follow in Read Obituary
I am so sorry to find out that my aunt has passed on. She was always very sweet when i visited her as a kid. She even made me scrambled eggs in the middle of the night when her and my nana Lowanda (Craft) mcguffin and her were still up talking. I am praying for the rest of my Craft family. Aunt Vera will always be in my heart.

Had many lunch time talks with Mrs Vera Neil at the 3rd St branch. I used to love to sit and listen to her and Mrs Juanice visit. She wanted things done right but was also ready to show you how to do it. My prayers are with you all during your time of sorrow.

Ms. Craft or Grandma Craft, as she was lovely called by some during her days and years with The Vernon Bank. We loved her, respected her and followed her directions to the letter. She was our mentor, or second Mom and friend. Loved by all who knew her, what great dressing she made at Christmas time. Ms. Vera Nell - sweet memories I have of this wonderful woman. She is the first memory I have of Pine Hill Baptist Church. Having moved to Leesville when I was about 9-10, I was invited to a party at the church for the Juniors class in Sunday School. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows on a fire outside. She was so sweet and kind to me and I never have forgotten that party. Jimmy, Linda and Bobby my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. You've lost - but only temporarily - a precious person. But, if you are like me with my Mama, you will still be able to hear her voice in your head . . . . . .
So sorry to hear about Vera Nells passing, we have many fond memories of her and all your family from Pine Hill Church. Wish we could have come down there to visit all of our friends more often.
