mrs.fitts taught me she was a great teacher.I'm sorry about her passing away. We will be praying.
My prayers are with the family, Mrs. Fitts taught me in the 5th grade at Hornbeck, back in the 60s.She was the best teacher I ever had, I thought of her often over the years ..God Bless the family .My heart and prayers are with you .

Mrs Fitts was my teacher in the 5th grade at Hornbeck in the 67-68 school year. If all the teachers made us get our moneys worth like she did there wouldn't be a problem with public schools graduating people who can't read and write.
Mrs. Fitts was a wonderful fifth grade teacher. I was so saddened to hear of her passing. With deepest sympathy.
We became accquaninted with Ms Vera in Leesville while we attended White Park church of Christ together. She was a great woman of faith. We learned quickly that she was kind and loving to others. We will be truly missed.
