Graveside services for Veola Fontenot, 83, of Leesville will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2009, at Wilson Cemetery in Leesville, Louisiana, with Rev. M. C. Green officiating.
Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana.
Veola was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish. She was a hard worker, a single parent raising her sons. She loved to fish and work in her flower garden.
She was preceded in death by son Roger Fontenot.
Mrs. Fontenot is survived by; sons Ronnie Fontenot of Montgomery, Louisiana, Don Fontenot of Deridder, Louisiana and Gerald Fontenot of Shreveport, Louisiana; numerous grandchildren and a special buddy Mickey.
