Velma Imogene Cameron Clawson's Obituary
Funeral services for Velma Imogene Cameron Clawson, 93, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 24th, at the Young’s Funeral Home in El Dorado, AR with Rev. Dewayne Amis officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, in El Dorado, AR under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 22nd, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 23rd, at the Young’s Funeral in El Dorado from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Velma, the daughter of Marvin Daniel and Margaret Evelyn Futch Cameron, was born June 13, 1921, in Wesson, AR. She passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014, in Alexandria, LA.
Mrs. Clawson was a lifelong resident of the El Dorado area and a member of the First Assembly of God in El Dorado. She was a homemaker. In 2005 she moved to Leesville to live with her daughter after her husband’s passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 66 years, Charlie Willie Clawson and sister, Ollive Wilkins.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Bolton & husband, Johnny of Leesville, LA; sister, Roberta Clary of Junction City, AR; two grandson, Scott & Trisha Bolton and Todd & Megan Bolton; six great grandchildren, Abbigail , Noah John, Aubree, Grant, Kallie, and Logan.
