Veda Sue Knotts' Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Veda Sue Knotts, 75, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Bro. Glen Anderson and Sis. Louella Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Anacoco, Louisiana under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 11th from 4 pm - 10 pm, and on Tuesday, March 12th, from 9 am until service time in the chapel.
Mrs. Veda, was born in Laurel, Mississippi on September 7, 1937 to Kenneth and Ida Belle Williams. She passed away on Thursday March 7, 2013 at Doctor’s Hospital at Deer Creek in Leesville, La.
Mrs. Knotts was a person with a loving personality. She was adored by everyone who ever met her. She was on this earth for a purpose. She shared the Love of God up until her very last breath.
Mrs. Knotts was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth & Ida Belle Williams; Her Husband: Claude Henry Knotts; Two Brothers: Gary Williams and Raymond Williams.
She is survived by: Her Children: Brenda & Stephen Willis of Pitkin, La., Michael & Angela Knotts of Longville, La., Marsha Kilpatrick of Anacoco, La., Melissa Smith of Anacoco, La., Debbie & Paul Kimrey of Maryville, Tn., and Janice & Don Foster of Choudrant, La.; One Sister: Clara Belle Williams of Prospect, La.; Grandchildren: Christopher Willis, Kaitlynn Willis, Brittany Clark, Jonathan Ritter, Paul Kimrey, Jr., Joshua Kimrey, Sam Kimrey, Tabitha Hardel, Leah Kimrey, Claudia Strozier, Jacob Kimrey, Heather Knotts, Kearstin Knotts, Kaleigh Knotts, Naomi Kilpatrick, Crystal Kilpatrick, Michaela Kilpatrick, James Williams II, Jason Williams, Jessica Williams Ward, Samantha Welch, Gary Odom, Chris Liner, Dakoda Foster; 33 Great Grandchildren; and a host of Nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends who adored her.
The family of Mrs. Veda Knotts would like to extend a personal thank you to some very special people that cared for her: Dr. Gregory Lord who was like her adopted son, Dr. Rees, Doctors Hospital at Deer Creek, Leesville Rehab, Compassionate Care Hospice, Phoenix Patient Care, and The Woodlands, who became her second family.
